I am so excited to share with you the first in my brand-new “Ask Mama” Q&A video series!

Questions on how to live “A Life Unbound” have been pouring into the School of Womanly Arts, in anticipation of the upcoming World Wide Sister Goddess Reunion. And I couldn’t resist getting down and dirty with some of your burning Qs.

I’ve noticed a theme. It seems many of you have a huge interest in getting unbound in the workplace.

Who amongst us has never felt overworked, uninspired, or underpaid at our jobs? And I am here to tell you that the key to landing a job you love, a job that truly reflects your worth, a job that makes you ecstatic, is not to sit at your desk and hate the job you have.  Even though that is so very very tempting…
The key is to party with the job you’ve got.

Every Woman’s Greatest Fear

Darlings,

What is more frightening than a haunted house on Halloween?
More scary than ending up at a sample sale in your granny panties?
Finding out you fell asleep on the uptown train when you were supposed to be heading downtown?

Pleasure.  That’s what.

Is there anybody out there too scared to get unbound?

Are any of you too nervous to attend something as crazy as the World Wide Sister Goddess Reunion in Miami?

If so, do not, under any circumstance, read Sister Goddess Georgette’s account of her very first School of Womanly Arts experience in Miami…

This past April I was in Miami, sitting in a room full of women who were bragging, dancing, and sharing their wildest, most outrageous desires for the upcoming weekend. I wanted to be fully part of the experience, but I felt like an observer. These women were rock stars. They bragged about hotel upgrades, gifts of cash, legendary love affairs. They were free and surfing the pleasure waves, while I was…bound.

I felt trapped by my uncertainty and doubt. I was shrinking back into my chair when Mama Gena spotted me and asked what I desired for the weekend. What was my response? “Seasoned fries.” I was hungry in every sense of the word, but “French fries” was all my adorably bound self could muster. “So you came all the way to Miami for French fries?” Mama asked me. I knew I made the journey from Los Angeles for much more but I didn’t know how to articulate it or how to get there.

Mama Gena encouraged me and said something that changed everything: “The days of not knowing how are over.” She worked with me to pull out some juicy desires and I was off. I conjured limo rides, gifted dinners that cost more than I pay for rent, clubbing, and a hotel upgrade all during that Miami weekend. I even had a cab driver, who dropped me off at a Mama Gena after-party, offer to fly me back to Miami whenever I desired to return. I didn’t take him up on the offer but I was glad to have it.

I got unbound in Miami and took it all back to my life in Los Angeles. I have taken my friendships into outrageous, joyous heights. Just last night to add some fun to my workout my friend Felicia and I snuck into the Rose Bowl to run the stairs. I added pleasure and juice to my acting career and had a director/writer create three pieces just for me. I conjured an amazing boyfriend who since April (my first Miami) has taken me to Santa Barbara, Nebraska, Seattle, Vegas, And Laguna Beach. He’s handsome, smart, funny, and worthy of a Sister Goddess like myself. I brag that I am taking him to this upcoming World Wide Sister Goddess Reunion. So come get unbound and frolic with us on the beach.

Do You See Yourself in this Photograph?

Darlings,

I want to share with you the first of our brand-new series of Radio Portraits, here at The School of Womanly Arts.
This is a series of audio interviews describing photographic moments that take place inside the Mastery classroom.
There are some moments in life that have so much power, so much depth, so much beauty, they hover in the air for eternity.

This photograph was one of those moments.
The subject?
My beloved student and friend, Sister Goddess Elvira.
I have known Elvira for ten years, since she flounced into the uptown Pleasure Palace, long mane of chestnut hair flying, to join an early Mama 101 class, a week after it had begun.
She and I have been there, and back together, over the years. Divorces, raising daughters, falling in and out of love.

Elvira is in a whole new place now.
It had been some years since she had crossed the threshold of The School of Womanly Arts. And much had changed.
When she arrived in Miami, I could see that my sister was in a crisis.
And needed an emergency pleasure infusion.  She was dressed in what looked like a suit-of-armor version of Miami beachwear.
And I could see that her innate sense of confidence and joy had vanished.
There was one tool that I knew would bring her back to herself, immediately.
A runway….

This portrait illustrates the crossroads every woman faces. We can either choose to be a victim…or a creatrix. The victim is stuck in judging, blaming, and complaining when she doesn’t get what she wants—completely bound. But the creatrix is too busy leaping in the direction of one monumental desire after another. She is living a life unbound.

In one instant, Elvira made the courageous decision to unbind. What gave her that ability? The Sister Goddess Community. Sisterhood is the magical elixir in unbinding yourself and living the life you have longed for.

That is why we created the World Wide Sister Goddess Reunion in Miami. To teach women to celebrate their desires, rather than doubt them, like we are so used to doing. Because when a woman lunges for what she wants, with abandon, it is the ultimate act of goodwill. It takes everyone in her world higher.

Elvira is a force of nature. And so are you. This was her masterpiece. What will be yours? What legendary moment awaits you, in Miami?

It began two years ago, with Sister Goddess Melanie. She went completely unbound as a Pleasure Revolutionary, and brought her Mob—a whole row of girlfriends—to the World Wide Sister Goddess Reunion. Last year, I took Sister Goddess Shar to lunch at the Raleigh, with seventeen of the girlfriends she brought to World Wide. These women stood for, and changed the lives of their sisters. I deeply honor them.

So, I want you to give you a fun way to do activism in the way that Sister Goddesses have been doing activism with World Wide for the last 3 years. And make it even more fun and fabulous for you to participate.

This Miami is different from any other Miami. This year we are launching the Unbound Olympics. The woman who brings the most sisters to Miami is the one who has the best chance of winning a free seat at Mastery!!

We have a special Sister Goddess rate of $299 for Miami, if you bring a girlfriend.  For every woman you bring to Miami, another entry with your name on it gets put in the pink hat, and at the end of the weekend, I will draw the winner.  And yes, I will also take you and your gang to lunch!

The more sisters you bring, the greater your chances to win. You will never be unbound without changing somebody’s life. And the more outrageous you are, the more unbound you become.
