At Mama Gena’s School of Womanly Arts (“MGSWA”), we recognize the importance of protecting your personal information. We believe that your private business is your private business, and we are conscious and respectful of your personal privacy.

MGSWA has established this Privacy Policy to explain how it protects and manages the personal information that it collects from you (the client or prospective client) online. This Privacy Policy applies to any (a) individual who submits his or her information at the MGSWA website for information purposes; and (b) any current or former client of the MGSWA who has, or continues to use, the various services of the MGSWA, including its Online Communities which are accessible via membership and approval only (hereinafter collectively referred to as “MGSWA products or services”).

Consent for Collection, Use and Disclosure

Your use of products or services (including the Online Communities) and/or your request via our “Contact Us” page to obtain information from the MGSWA, constitutes your consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use any of our products or services and please do not submit your information to us.

Notice of all changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted in updates to this Privacy Policy. If you continue to use the services of the MGSWA after notice of changes have been sent to you or published on our site, you hereby provide your consent to the changed practices.

A client may withdraw his or her consent for collection, use and disclosure at any time by sending an e-mail through the Contact Us page, asking to unsubscribe. Please note that, if you do, MGSWA may suspend its provision of products and services to you, including any access to its Online Communities.

Accountability and Use

The MGSWA collects, at the time of your registration with, and/or sign-on to its website and other Internet services (such as its Online Communities), certain “personal information” (information that personally identifies you) which may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, home or work address, telephone number, and information about your computer hardware and software (e.g., IP address, operating system, browser type, domain name, URL, access times, and referring web site addresses).

When you send us an email using the “Contact Us” page, we will retain the content of the mail, your email address, and our response in order to address any questions and follow-up questions you may have. We may also use the information to design offers customized to your interests. For example, you may receive a special offer for courses or events we think would be of interest to you.

We do not sell your name or other private information to third parties. From time to time, we may engage third parties to perform functions or process information on our behalf. Examples of such third parties include consultants, database designers, customer support specialists, Web hosting companies and/or fulfillment companies (e.g., companies that coordinate mailings). Such third parties may be provided with access to personally identifiable information needed to perform their functions, but are not allowed to use such information for any purpose unrelated to their specific job on behalf of the MGSWA. These third parties are required to comply with our confidentiality and privacy policies when processing this information.

MGSWA does not use any information obtained via its ownership and moderating of any of its Online Communities for any commercial use. Indeed, MGSWA created those communities to provide you with an extraordinary and unique online experience and so you can share and grow with other MGSWA clients. MGSWA is vigilant about protecting the information you share there!
